    The Healthy Perspectives Program is the first parenting skill building program to respect and honor the unique history and traditions of people of African descent and to teach its skills in a manner that is both culturally sensitive and culturally affirming. Delivered through an engaging platform, the program provides an interactive space where parents can connect, share experiences, and learn parenting strategies. Participants benefit from weekly incentives and resources for the duration of 8 sessions. The program emphasizes building strong family bonds, fostering cultural pride and equipping parents with tools to navigate parenting challenges effectively.

  • By signing up for the Healthy Perspectives parent training series, the participant understands that we are asking for an 8-week commitment and that the participant will do their best to attend each training and notify the facilitator if they are unable to attend.*

  • You must be able to agree to an 8-week commitment and communicate any absences to facilitators in order to continue participating in the parent training series. If you have any questions, please email EveryoneFRC@ccrcca.org

  • Participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the parent training series. If a participant does not attend at least 6 sessions, the participant will not be eligible to receive a certificate.*

  • You must be able to agree to attend at least 6 sessions in order to receive certification for this training. If you have any questions, please email EveryoneFRC@ccrcca.org

  • This parent training is currently only being offered to residents of San Bernardino county. By signing up for the Healthy Perspectives parent training series, the caregiver affirms that they are a resident of San Bernardino County.*

  • You must reside in San Bernardino County in order to participate in this parent training series. If you need assistance locating your local Family Resource Center, please email EveryoneFRC@ccrcca.org
